L3 TURBO ENGINES

L3-VDT is a turbocharged version of the 2.3 L with Direct Injection Spark Ignition (DISI). It develops 263 hp (196 kW; 267 PS) at 5,500 rpm and 280 lb⋅ft (380 N⋅m) at 3,000 rpm and is capable of propelling the Mazdaspeed3 from 0–60 mph (97 km/h) in 5.6 seconds.
